Zimbabwe Association of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists (ZAASP)

The Zimbabwe Association of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists (ZAASP)is a professional association for speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Zimbabwe. Audiologists are experts in providing services in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders, and Speech and language pathologists specialise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. ZAASP provides guidelines for best practice in the fields of audiology and speech therapy and encourages members to enhance professional competence and aspire to the highest standards of ethical conduct. ZAASP promotes the best interest of all members of the professions and also promotes the professions to the public. In addition, ZAASP advocates and responds to the needs of various people with various hearing and communication difficulties.

Zimbabwe Association of Occupational Therapy (ZAOT)

Occupational therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they want to, need to, or are expected to do, or by modifying the occupation or the environment to better support their occupational engagement. Zimbabwe Physiotherapy Association (ZPA)

The Zimbabwe Physiotherapy Association is an autonomous professional body, which aspires to ensure the delivery of quality service to the general public of Zimbabwe by safeguarding the interests of the profession and its members, providing a basis for professional development while working in an open and equal partnership with other Health Professionals.

The ZPA is committed to active involvement in policy making in the Health sector in Zimbabwe. The ZPA has a National Executive Committee, which comprises of the President, National Secretary, National Treasurer, and the Chairmen of the Branches and co-opted members with extensive ZPA experience.
